How To Calculate NEET 2020 Score & Rank?
Candidates can calculate their NEET score by comparing the NEET Answer Key with their response sheets. NEET 2020 provisional answer key was released on September 26 and the last date to challenge the keys is October 7, 2020. - – Every correct answer, +4 mark is awarded.
- – For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted from the total score.
- – No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.

- – Total Marks = 180 MCQs X 4 = 720 Marks

What Is NEET Percentile Score?
NEET Percentile Score is used to prepare the NEET Rank List. The NEET Percentile is the candidate’s performance in comparison to other students. The Percentile Score tells you the percentage of students (of the total number of students who appeared for the exam) who scored less than or equal to that particular percentile in the NEET exam. NEET Result: Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in NEET 2020, the following procedure will be adopted to resolve the tie between them:
- Biology Score: Candidate obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology).
- Chemistry Score: Candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry,
- Number of Incorrect Answers: Candidate with less number of attempted incorrect answers in all the subjects
- Age Criteria: If the tie is still not resolved, candidate older in age will be given preference
NEET Answer Key
As the officials have already released the answer key on September 26, more than 13.5 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam are now waiting for their NEET result. The final NEET-UG answer keys will be released a few hours before the NEET 2020 result declaration date. NEET Result: Merit List
A centralized NEET Merit List will be prepared by NTA after the announcement of NEET 2020 Result. The merit list is prepared for 15% All India Seats and 85% State Quota Seats. The states will prepare their own merit list based on AIR and category of the candidate. The NEET State-wise Merit List is released on the respective state’s counselling websites.
